A lesson, a reading passage, or a few words you keep forgetting: turn them into a Chinese writing practice worksheet you can actually use. Wordpaper keeps each word together, so 银行 stays on one entry with its own reading and meaning. You can print immediately, without an account.
Make a worksheet in three steps
- Open Paste or replace a word list. Put one Chinese word on each line. You can paste up to 100 entries, with optional tab-separated pinyin and English meanings.
- Check the suggested pinyin. Edit readings and meanings directly in the list. A “Check reading” flag is a reminder to review a character with more than one possible pronunciation.
- Choose the grid, tracing copies and blank rows. Select Print / Save PDF to print every page.
Mandarin writing practice sheets that keep words together
Compare 银行 (yín háng, bank) with 行走 (xíng zǒu, to walk). The same character can have a different reading in a different word. Your corrections stay in place when you change paper size or hide duplicate words. Automatic pinyin is a starting point; review it against your lesson or dictionary before printing.

Questions before you print
Can I use simplified and traditional characters?
Yes. The editor keeps the characters you paste without converting between writing systems. Font appearance depends on the Chinese fonts installed on your device. Review pinyin for names and less common readings.
Are meanings and stroke order generated?
Meanings are yours to enter; the sample includes example glosses. Wordpaper provides tracing models and grid guides. It does not currently provide stroke-order diagrams or certify handwritten forms.
Will my word list be uploaded?
The editor runs in your browser and saves the draft on this device. Download a backup before clearing browser data. You can restore that JSON file later.
